6月28日，2026“一带一路”国家驻华使节自行车系列赛（河南郑州航空港站）在郑州航空港区双鹤湖中央公园正式开赛。国际教育学院50名留学生应邀参赛，与一带一路”共建国家驻华使节并肩骑行。
On June 28th, the 2026 "Belt and Road Initiative"Diplomats Cycling Series (Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone Station) kicked off in the Shuanghe Lake Central Park. 50 international students from the School of International Education participated in the event, cycling side by side with the diplomatic envoys from the countries participating in the "Belt and Road Initiative".
据悉该赛事由国家体育总局自行车击剑运动管理中心、中国自行车运动协会、河南省体育总会及郑州航空港区管委会联合主办。赛事旨在面向“一带一路”共建国家驻华使节搭建竞技交流平台，深度融合外事座谈、产业对接、城市文旅推介，让骑行赛道成为流动的中外文化长廊，以体育话语传递丝路合作声音。
It is reported that this event is jointly organized by the Cycling and Fencing Sports Management Center of the National Sports Administration, the Chinese Cycling Association, the Henan Sports Federation and the Zhengzhou Hangkonggang District Government. The purpose of the event is to build a competitive exchange platform for diplomatic envoys from countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative in China. It integrates foreign affairs discussions, industrial cooperation, and city cultural and tourism promotion, making the cycling track a flowing cultural corridor of China and foreign countries, and using sports discourse to convey the voice of cooperation along the Silk Road.
吉尔吉斯斯坦籍学生BESHABAEV TIMURLAN BERDIBEKOVICH 凭借强劲实力与稳定发挥脱颖而出，最终斩获驻华使节组第二名。领奖台上，他手捧奖牌的身影，不仅展现出个人勇于拼搏的体育精神，更彰显了郑工学子积极向上、奋勇争先的良好风貌，赢得现场阵阵掌声。
The Kyrgyzstan student BESHABAEV TIMURLAN BERDIBEKOVICH stood out with his outstanding strength and stable performance, ultimately claiming the second place in the delegation of diplomatic representatives group. On the stage to receive the award, his figure holding the medal not only demonstrated his personal sports spirit of hard work and perseverance, but also highlighted the positive and competitive attitude of the students of Zhengzhou University of Industrial and Technology, earning rounds of applause from the audience.
一直以来，我院坚持实践育人，持续搭建多元化跨文化交流平台，组织留学生参与体育赛事、文化体验、外事交流等各类活动，让留学生走出课堂，在真实场景中提升汉语能力、拓宽国际视野。下一步，学院将持续依托 “一带一路” 各类交流活动，引导留学生以体育交心、以语言传情，主动担当中外文明互通的青年使者，持续讲好新时代中国故事。
All along, our school has been committed to fostering students through practical education and has continuously established various diversified cross-cultural communication platforms. We organize international students to participate in sports events, cultural experiences, foreign affairs exchanges and other types of activities, allowing them to step out of the classroom and enhance their Chinese language skills and broaden their international perspectives in real-life situations. In the future,we will continue to rely on various exchange activities under the "Belt and Road Initiative", guiding international students to communicate through sports and express themselves through language, and actively serve as young messengers for the exchange of civilizations between China and other countries. We will continue to tell the stories of modern China.
