(图、文/任梦阳)端午临中夏,时清日复长。在传统节日端午节来临之际,为弘扬中华优秀传统文化、增进中外学子文化交流,6月19日中午,我院在建工南207教室举办端午传统节日体验活动。来自多个国家的留学生与中国学生齐聚一堂,通过文化讲解、粽子品鉴、手工制作香囊等丰富环节,共同感受端午民俗的独特魅力。
As Dragon Boat draws near to summer’s middle height,The sky is clear, and days grow longer, soft and bright.On the occasion of the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, to promote excellent Chinese traditional culture and enhance cultural exchange between Chinese and international students, at noon on June 19, the School of International Education held a “Dragon Boat Festival Experience Event” in Classroom 207, Jian GongSouthBuilding. International students from multiple countries gathered with Chinese students to experience the unique charm of Dragon Boat Festival customs through cultural explanations, zongzi tasting, and hands-on sachet making.


活动伊始,老师通过生动讲解,介绍了端午节的起源、历史演变及核心习俗。从纪念屈原的爱国故事到挂艾草、佩香囊、系五彩绳等传统习俗的文化寓意,深入浅出的讲解让在场同学对这一节日有了更全面的认识。留学生们认真聆听、频频提问,在互动交流中加深了对中华传统节日文化内涵的理解。
At the beginning of the event, the instructor gave a lively presentation on the origins, historical evolution, and core customs of the Dragon Boat Festival. From the patriotic story of Qu Yuan to the cultural meanings behind traditional practices such as hanging mugwort, wearing fragrant sachets, and tying five‑color silk threads, the clear and accessible explanations gave the attending students a more comprehensive understanding of the festival. The international students listened attentively and frequently asked questions, deepening their grasp of the cultural connotations of this traditional Chinese holiday through interactive exchanges.

现场准备了多种口味的粽子供同学们品尝。粽叶清香混合着糯米的香气弥漫全场,中外学子围坐在一起,一边品尝地道的端午美味,一边交流各自国家的节日饮食文化。中国同学介绍粽子做法与南北差异,留学生分享家乡节庆美食,气氛温馨热烈。
Various flavors of zongzi were prepared on site for the students to taste. The fragrant aroma of bamboo leaves mixed with the scent of glutinous rice filled the room. Chinese and international students sat together, savoring the authentic festive delicacies while sharing food customs from their own countries. Chinese students introduced the preparation methods and the regional differences between northern and southern zongzi, while international students shared festive dishes from their homelands, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.

在老师的示范下,同学们填充艾草香料、缝制收口,亲手制作出一个个饱含祈福安康寓意的端午香囊,留学生们在实践中体验到了中国传统手工技艺的精妙。一位留学生拿着自己亲手制作的香囊爱不释手:“艾草的清香让我着迷,这是我收到的最有意义的端午礼物。”
Under the instructor’s demonstration, the students filled the sachets with mugwort and spices, sewed them shut, and crafted their own festive sachets imbued with wishes for good health and peace. Through this hands‑on activity, the international students experienced the exquisiteness of traditional Chinese handicrafts. One international student, holding the sachet they had made, said fondly, “The fragrance of mugwort fascinates me. This is the most meaningful Dragon Boat Festival gift I have ever received.”


此次活动以传统节日为契机,将文化讲解、美食品鉴与手工实践相结合,让中外学子在沉浸式体验中近距离触摸传统文化、感悟中华文脉。活动不仅加深了留学生对中国传统节日文化的理解,也为中外学子搭建了沟通交流的平台。未来,我院将继续以中华传统节日为载体,开展更多形式多样的文化交流活动,让留学生在沉浸式体验中感知中华传统文化。
This event, taking the traditional festival as an opportunity, combined cultural explanations, food tasting, and hands‑on crafting, allowing Chinese and international students to closely experience traditional culture and appreciate the essence of Chinese heritage in an immersive setting. The activity not only deepened international students’ understanding of Chinese traditional festival culture but also built a platform for communication and exchange between Chinese and international students. In the future, the School of International Education will continue to use traditional Chinese festivals as a vehicle to organize more diverse cultural exchange activities, enabling international students to perceive Chinese traditional culture through immersive experiences.
