Yan Bing, President of our university, Jia Shengqiang, Vice President, and Gao Hongyan, Chair of the Trade Union and Assistant to the President, attended the talks and signing ceremony. Also present were Frau Krawagna-Nöbauer, Director of International Cooperation of Deggendorf Institute of Technology, and relevant heads of the International Exchange Office, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, International Department of our university. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Xiaohang, Director of the International Exchange Office.
闫兵对瓦尔德马尔·伯格一行的到访表示欢迎，并详细介绍了学校的办学特色、学科建设及国际化办学成果等。他表示，德国代根多夫应用科技大学在工程技术、应用科学领域优势显著，希望两校在应用研究、专业共建、联合培养等方面开展广泛合作。
Yan Bing extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Prof. Waldemar Berg and gave a detailed introduction to the university’s educational characteristics, discipline development and achievements in international education. He noted that Deggendorf Institute of Technology enjoys outstanding advantages in engineering and applied sciences, and expressed the hope that the two universities will carry out extensive cooperation in applied research, joint discipline development and talent cultivation.
瓦尔德马尔·伯格详细介绍代根多夫应用科技大学办学优势与发展特色。他表示，代根多夫应用科技大学国际化程度高，科研实力突出，在应用技术研发等方面成果显著，期待双方建立长期稳定合作，共同培养国际化工科人才。
Prof. Waldemar Berg introduced the educational strengths and developmental features of Deggendorf Institute of Technology in detail. He stated that Deggendorf Institute of Technology boasts a high level of internationalization and outstanding scientific research strength, with remarkable achievements in applied technology research and development. He looked forward to establishing long-term and stable cooperation between the two sides to jointly cultivate international engineering talents.
双方围绕联合培养等合作方向深入交流，达成广泛共识，并共同签署合作备忘录。
The two sides held in-depth exchanges on cooperation directions including academic advancement, joint scientific research and the co-construction of training bases, reached broad consensus, and jointly signed the cooperation memorandum.
会谈前，瓦尔德马尔·伯格一行参观了建工实训中心、体育中心、中加高尔夫学院和机电工程学院等，重点了解专业设置及学生培养情况，对学校办学特色和应用型人才培养给予高度评价。
Prior to the talks, the delegation led by Prof. Waldemar Berg visited the Construction Engineering Training Center, Sports Center, Sino-Canadian Golf Academy and School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, focusing on understanding the specialty setup and talent cultivation. They spoke highly of the university’s educational characteristics and applied talent cultivation.
