(Text by Shi Xiaoli / Photos by Qi Mengyang) On May 12, Mr. Sirichai Jirawongnuson, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (RMUTR) of Thailand, and Mr. Liu Guoming, Dean of 1024 Academy, led a delegation to visit our university. Wang Meiying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, attended the meeting, together with heads of relevant departments including the International Exchange Office. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Xiaohang, Director of the International Exchange Office.
王美英对代表团的来访表示欢迎，并介绍了学校办学特色、人才培养、国际合作等情况。她表示，学校将国际化发展作为学校重要战略方向，希望能持续深化沟通对接，依托优质教育资源共建国际化人才培养平台。
Wang Meiying extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the university’s school-running characteristics, talent cultivation, international cooperation and other relevant situations. She stated that the university regards international development as a key strategic direction, and hopes to further deepen communication and docking, and build an international talent training platform relying on high-quality educational resources.
西里查・伊拉沃翁苏恩对我校的热情接待表示感谢。他表示，兰塔纳功欣皇家理工大学校是泰国9所皇家理工大学之一，在工程技术、建筑设计、数字技术等领域优势突出，拥有完善的国际教育体系和丰富的中外合作办学经验。学校高度重视与中国院校的合作，期待与各方一道，实现优势互补，为中泰两国培养更多符合产业需求的技术技能人才。
Sirichai Jirawongnuson expressed gratitude for the warm reception. He noted that Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin is one of Thailand’s nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology. It boasts outstanding strengths in engineering technology, architectural design, digital technology and other fields, with a sound international education system and rich experience in Sino-foreign cooperative school-running. The university attaches great importance to cooperation with Chinese institutions, and looks forward to complementing strengths with all parties to cultivate more technical and skilled talents meeting industrial needs for China and Thailand.
刘国洺表示，一零二四学苑依托丰富的数字产业资源，在数字技术人才培养、海外实训就业对接方面拥有成熟经验。将为此次合作提供标准化课程体系、现代化实训基地和多元化海外就业渠道支持，确保人才培养与产业需求精准对接。
Liu Guoming mentioned that backed by abundant digital industry resources, 1024 Academy has mature experience in digital technology talent training and overseas internship & employment docking. It will support the cooperation with standardized curriculum systems, modern training bases and diversified overseas employment channels, so as to realize precise alignment between talent cultivation and industrial demands.
签约式上，王美英和西里查・伊拉沃翁苏恩分别代表两校签订合作备忘录。
The two sides held in-depth exchanges on cooperation directions and jointly signed the cooperation memorandum.
会前，参访团先后参观建工实训中心、体育中心、高尔夫学院和医学院等教学科研场所，并对学校的校园环境、设施设备、举办力度等高度评价。
Prior to the talks, the delegation visited the Construction Engineering Training Center, Sports Center, School of Sino-Canadian Golf, School of Medicine and other teaching and research facilities. They spoke highly of the university’s campus environment, facilities and hardware construction.
