汉语词句流转，笑声满溢厅堂，第三场“传统现代喜相逢”口语沙龙在欢声笑语中落下帷幕。12月10日晚，建工南楼笃行厅内，中外学子以汉语为桥，让千年传统与当下潮流对话，跨文化友谊在词句间悄然生长。
With Chinese words flowing and laughter filling the hall, the 3rd Oral English Salon themed "When Tradition Meets Modernity" came to a joyful end. On the evening of December 10th, in Duxing Hall of South Architecture Engineering Building, Chinese and foreign students took Chinese as a bridge, enabling thousand-year-old traditions to communicate with current trends, and cross-cultural friendships quietly took root amid words and sentences.
活动开场的“文化寻宝配对”，恰似一把打开交流之门的钥匙。指尖划过词汇卡的瞬间，“计算器&算盘组”“空调&蒲扇组”“汽车&轿子组”“皮影戏&电影组”四支队伍应声而成。陌生感在你问我答中消融，好奇与热忱在光影里交织。
The opening "Cultural Treasure Hunt Pairing" was just like a key to unlocking the door of communication. As fingers slid across the vocabulary cards, four teams were quickly formed: "Calculator & Abacus Group", "Air Conditioner & Palm Fan Group", "Car & Sedan Chair Group", and "Shadow Puppetry & Movie Group". Strangeness faded away through questions and answers, while curiosity and enthusiasm intertwined in the light and shadow.
传话环节，掀动全场欢乐热潮。衔接古今的中文短句从队首传递，带着洋腔的发音在人群中流转——有留学生精准复刻“古代人用算盘算账”，也有可爱口误，引得全场笑声滚成一团。中国学子化身“语言逻辑小助手”，巧妙帮小组加分，协作的默契在眼神交汇中升温。
The Message Passing session set off a wave of joy across the venue. Chinese sentences connecting the past and present were passed from the front of each team, with foreign-accented pronunciations circulating among the crowd—some international students accurately repeated "Ancients used abacuses for accounting", while lovely mispronunciations triggered bursts of laughter. Chinese students acted as "language logic assistants", skillfully helping their teams gain extra points, and the tacit understanding of cooperation warmed up in eye contact.
最动人的莫过于创意迸发的收尾环节。各小组分别抽中“智能中秋灯笼”“传统茶艺+自动泡茶机”“AR传统服饰试穿”等场景。画笔在纸上翻飞：有人为灯笼添上“语音送祝福”的智能芯片，灯穗垂落时藏着LED光影；有人设计“一键出汤”的泡茶机，青瓷茶盏仍留着传统盖碗的形制；有人勾勒中外传统服饰AR试衣屏，指尖一点便能切换传统服装样式与现代剪裁。中外学子并肩伏案，用中英双语标注设计理念，每一笔都藏着对“古今相融”的奇思妙想。
The most touching part was the creative closing session. Each group drew scenarios such as "Smart Mid-Autumn Lanterns", "Traditional Tea Art + Automatic Tea Maker", and "AR Traditional Costume Fitting". Brushes danced on the paper: some added "voice blessing" smart chips to the lanterns, with LED lights hidden in the hanging tassels; some designed one-click tea-making machines, while the celadon teacups still retained the shape of traditional covered bowls; some sketched AR fitting screens for Chinese and foreign traditional costumes, allowing people to switch between traditional styles and modern tailoring with a touch of the finger. Chinese and foreign students leaned over the desks side by side, marking their design concepts in both Chinese and English, and every stroke embodied creative ideas about "integrating the past and the present".
当古风扇子、钢笔组成的奖励送到优胜组手中，当创意草图在合影时被高高举起，这场沙龙的初心愈发清晰：传统不是陈列的标本，现代不是割裂的潮流，携手方能织就更鲜活的文化图景。
When prizes composed of traditional fans and fountain pens were awarded to the winning groups, and creative sketches were held high during group photos, the original aspiration of this salon became clearer: tradition is not a displayed specimen, and modernity is not an isolated trend; only by working together can we weave a more vivid cultural picture.
