为进一步增强留学生消防安全意识，提高应对突发火情的能力，我院组织留学生于11月13日在东校区参加消防演练。

To further enhance international students' awareness of fire safety and improve their ability to respond to sudden fires, our college organized an international student fire drill at the East Campus on November 13th.

演练中，保卫处工作人员首先讲解了常见火灾类型、成因及逃生自救知识，并现场介绍了烟雾报警器、应急指示灯等消防设施的功能与识别方法。随后，消防员现场演示了灭火器的操作要领，强调“一晃、二拉、三压、四喷”的动作口诀，并指导学生轮流进行实操练习，亲身体验扑救初起火灾的过程。

During the drill, staff from the Security Department first explained common fire types, causes, and self-rescue and evacuation knowledge. They also introduced the functions and identification methods of fire-fighting facilities such as smoke alarms and emergency lights on site. Subsequently, firefighters demonstrated the key operation points of fire extinguishers, emphasizing the action mnemonic "shake, pull, squeeze, spray", and guided students to take turns in practical exercises to personally experience putting out incipient fires.

“安全无小事，责任重于泰山”。我院高度重视留学生的安全教育，此次组织留学生参与消防演练，不仅提升了他们的消防安全技能，也增强了他们在华学习期间的自我保护能力。来自不同国家的留学生们纷纷表示，通过这次活动，他们更加熟悉了校园应急流程，也对中国的消防安全文化有了更深入的了解。

"Nothing is trivial when it comes to safety, and responsibility is heavier than Mount Tai." Our college attaches great importance to the safety education of international students. Organizing them to participate in this fire drill not only improves their fire safety skills but also enhances their self-protection ability during their studies in China. International students from different countries have expressed that through this activity, they have become more familiar with the campus emergency procedures and gained a deeper understanding of China's fire safety culture.
