为持续推动国际学生深入理解中华优秀传统文化的深厚底蕴，亲身体验中原地区独特的历史魅力，国际教育学院于2025年11月2日组织“感知中国 品味中原”文化实践活动。国际教育学院院长郑晓航、党委书记王晓龙率领全体教师与2025年秋季来华留学生新生共同走进新郑黄帝故里、新郑考院与郑国车马坑遗址，通过实地探访、仪式参与和文物对话，触摸中华五千年文明的脉搏。

To continuously help international students gain a deeper understanding of the profound heritage of China's outstanding traditional culture and personally experience the unique historical charm of the Central Plains region, the International Education College organized the "Experience China, Savor the Central Plains" cultural practice activity on November 2, 2025. Led by Zheng Xiaohang, Dean of the International Education College, and Wang Xiaolong, Secretary of the Party Committee, all faculty members and new international students of the 2025 autumn intake visited Xinzheng HuangDi Hometown, Xinzheng Examination Hall and the Zheng State Chariot and Horse Pit Ruins. Through on-site visits, ritual participation and engagement with cultural relics, they felt the pulse of China's 5,000-year-old civilization.

活动第一站，留学生们来到中华民族的人文圣地——新郑黄帝故里。在庄严肃穆的黄帝像前，大家认真聆听讲解，了解轩辕黄帝作为中华文明奠基者的伟大贡献。

At the first stop of the tour, international students arrived at Xinzheng Huangdi Hometown, a sacred site of Chinese culture. In front of the solemn statue of Huangdi, all listened attentively to the explanation, learning about the great contributions of Emperor Xuanyuan as the founder of Chinese civilization.

随后，大家步入千年历史的考院。通过导游的生动讲解与文物陈列，留学生们深入了解了中国古代学子勤学苦读、科举应试的艰辛历程。考院内设置的传统文化体验区再次成为活动亮点，射箭等传统游戏吸引了众多学生踊跃参与，现场气氛热烈，欢声不断，文化在互动中悄然融合。

Next, the group entered the Examination Hall with a history of over a thousand years. Through the guide’s vivid explanations and the cultural relic exhibits, the international students gained a deep understanding of the arduous journey of ancient Chinese scholars—how they studied diligently and took the imperial examinations.The traditional culture experience area set up in the hall became a highlight of the activity once again. Traditional games like archery attracted many students to participate enthusiastically. The scene was lively with constant laughter, and cultures quietly merged amid the interaction.

在郑国车马坑遗址，留学生们被保存完好的22辆木质战车与40多匹战马遗骸所震撼。这一“地下军阵”生动再现了春秋时期郑国的军事实力与车马文明，让大家直观感受到中国古代工艺与军事文化的卓越成就。遗址现场特别设置了非遗木版画体验环节，在专业老师的指导下，留学生们亲手拓印出以车马为题材的传统图案，在实践操作中进一步领略中国古代技艺的匠心独运，对中原历史与非遗文化的双重厚重赞叹不已。

At the Zheng State Chariot and Horse Pit Ruins, international students were shocked by the well-preserved remains of 22 wooden chariots and more than 40 war horses. This "underground military formation" vividly reproduces the military strength and chariot-horse civilization of the Zheng State during the Spring and Autumn Period, allowing everyone to intuitively feel the outstanding achievements of ancient China’s craftsmanship and military culture.A special intangible cultural heritage (ICH) woodblock printing experience session was set up on-site at the ruins. Under the guidance of professional teachers, the international students personally made rubbings of traditional patterns themed on chariots and horses. Through practical operation, they further appreciated the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient Chinese techniques and expressed great admiration for the double profoundness of the Central Plains’ history and ICH culture.

文化无界，心灵相通。本次“感知中国 品味中原”活动不仅让留学生们领略了中国历史与文化的博大精深，也在跨文化的体验、实践与交流中，进一步增进了他们对中国的情感认同，激发了他们继续探索中华文明的浓厚兴趣与深切期待。

Culture knows no boundaries, and hearts connect through it. This "Experience China, Savor the Central Plains" activity not only allowed international students to appreciate the vastness and profundity of Chinese history and culture, but also further enhanced their emotional identification with China through cross-cultural experience, practice and communication, inspiring their strong interest and deep expectation to continue exploring Chinese civilization.
