为深入体验中原文化魅力，促进中外师生文化交流与学习，10月18日，国际教育学院党委书记王晓龙亲自带队，组织学院辅导员与3名来自不同国家的留学生代表，共同前往华北水利水电大学参加了河南省第二届中外师生国际文化节。
To deeply experience the charm of Central Plains culture and promote cultural exchange and learning among Chinese and foreign teachers and students, on October 18th, Wang Xiaolong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Education, led the team in person. He organized the college's counselors and 3 international student representatives from different countries to visit North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power and participate in the 2nd Henan Provincial International Cultural Festival for Chinese and Foreign Teachers and Students.
本次文化节以“友谊、交流、学习”为主题，规模宏大，内容丰富多彩。在我院师生的参观学习过程中，大家重点走访了各国文化展区、中原非物质文化遗产展示区。在各国文化展区，师生们驻足于各高校精心布置的展位前，通过特色服饰、手工艺品、美食和文艺表演，深入了解了世界多元文化的独特风采。我院留学生与来自其他高校的师生们热情交流，分享自己国家的文化，同时也对河南本土文化表现出浓厚的兴趣。
With the theme of "Friendship, Exchange, Learning", this cultural festival was held on a grand scale with rich and diverse content. During the visit and learning process of teachers and students from our school, the group focused on visiting two key areas: the International Cultural Exhibition Areas and the Central Plains Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Exhibition Area.At the International Cultural Exhibition Areas, teachers and students lingered at the elaborately arranged booths by various universities. Through traditional costumes, handicrafts, cuisines and cultural performances, they gained an in-depth understanding of the unique charm of global cultural diversity.International students from our school engaged in enthusiastic exchanges with teachers and students from other universities. They shared the culture of their home countries, while also showing strong interest in the local culture of Henan.
王晓龙书记在活动中表示：“组织师生参加这样的文化盛会，不仅是为了‘看热闹’，更是为了‘学门道’。我们希望留学生能通过沉浸式的体验，将书本上的中国文化知识转化为真切的文化感知，同时也让我们的辅导员老师在跨文化交际的实践中提升管理服务水平。”
此次文化节之行，是我院积极推动国际化人才培养和校园文化建设的重要举措。通过实地参观与深度学习，不仅拓宽了留学生的文化视野，增强了他们对中国的认同感和归属感，也进一步提升了我院中外学生管理服务工作的实践能力，为营造开放、包容、互学的国际化校园环境奠定了坚实基础。
Secretary Wang Xiaolong stated at the event, "Organizing teachers and students to participate in such a cultural gala is not just about enjoying the spectacle, but more about gaining genuine insights. We hope that international students can transform their knowledge of Chinese culture from textbooks into authentic cultural perception through immersive experiences. At the same time, we also expect our counselors to enhance their management and service capabilities through the practice of cross-cultural communication."
This trip to the cultural festival is a key initiative of our school to actively promote international talent development and campus cultural development. Through on-site visits and in-depth learning, it has not only broadened the international students' cultural horizons and strengthened their sense of identity and belonging to China, but also further improved the practical capabilities of our school in the management and service work for Chinese and foreign students. This has laid a solid foundation for creating an open, inclusive, and mutually learning international campus environment.
