6 月 4 日，建工南楼 205 教室化作中外文化交融的小宇宙，“语汇世界，共融文化——中外学生口语沙龙”系列活动第四场在此热力收官。中国学生与外国留学生们以“衣食住行”为钥匙，用语言搭建理解之桥，在鲜活的生活细节中破译跨文化密码，让每一个词汇都成为文明对话的星光。

On June 4th, Jiangong South Building's Classroom 205 transformed into a vibrant hub of cultural exchange as the fourth installment of "Lexical Horizons, Cultural Convergence - Chinese and International Students' Oral Salon" concluded successfully. Participants used the fundamental aspects of daily life - clothing, food, shelter, and transportation - as cultural touchstones, bridging understanding through language while decoding cross-cultural nuances in everyday experiences. Each exchanged word sparkled like starlight in the constellation of civilizational dialogue.

活动以一段名为《中国人的“家”》的视频拉开序幕。当四万年前原始洞穴的斑驳光影映上屏幕，立刻抓住了中外学生的目光。从黄土高原的窑洞到江南水巷的民居，从福建土楼的环形智慧到苏州园林的诗意空间，画面如流动的词典，无声诠释着中国人对“居所”的独特定义。语言尚未开口，文化的语汇已在视觉中悄然对接。

The event commenced with *The Chinese "Home"*, a captivating visual journey that transported viewers from 40,000-year-old primal caves to China's architectural wonders: the earthy dwellings of the Loess Plateau, the waterside homes of Jiangnan, the communal harmony of Fujian's tulou (traditional Hakka earthen buildings), and the poetic elegance of Suzhou gardens. This cinematic tapestry eloquently narrated China's unique philosophy of dwelling, establishing silent cultural connections before any verbal exchange.

自由讨论环节，现场氛围热烈非凡。来自乌兹别克斯坦的留学生华宁以略显生涩却充满热忱的汉语，主动与身旁的中国学生展开交流，“你多大了？”“你的爱好是什么？”之类的日常问候，瞬间拉近了彼此的距离。大家纷纷踊跃分享，交流各国在衣食住行方面的文化特色。

The discussion session buzzed with intercultural energy. Huaning, an Uzbek exchange student, enthusiastically conversed in slightly broken yet heartfelt Mandarin, quickly bonding with Chinese peers through simple icebreakers like "How old are you?" and "What are your hobbies?" The cultural sharing flowed naturally:  

一位中国学生在和同组的留学生交流之后，向大家分享了中国和吉尔吉斯坦国家在食用辣椒方面的不同偏好。一个小组还深入解读了中国衣食住行的文化内涵，从服装颜色蕴含的寓意，到出行时需遵循的交通规则，乃至河南地区用餐时“dao'dao'dao”所代表的独特含义，丰富的内容让现场充满欢声笑语。与此同时，部分中国学生热情地向外国友人推荐学校文华餐厅、锦绣餐厅的特色美食。介绍郑州的同学不仅温馨提示当地气候干燥，需注意保暖，还分享了郑州人“早胡辣汤、午烩面、晚随意”的饮食偏好。

One group compared chili-eating customs between China and Kyrgyzstan. Another decoded cultural symbolism in Chinese clothing colors and traffic norms. Laughter erupted when students explained the Henan dialect phrase "dao'dao'dao" (a lively expression for mealtime chatter) Chinese students proudly recommended signature dishes from Wenhua and Jinxiu Canteens. A Zhengzhou native humorously advised: "Start your day with spicy soup, enjoy pulled noodles (hui mian) for lunch, and indulge freely at dinner - just remember our dry winters demand warm layers!"

中外学生的情谊在互动中不断升温，动人的细节还藏在他们的日常交往里。因前几场活动而和留学生朋友结缘的一位中国学生表示，她是在日常相处中了解到留学生华婷的饮食习惯的——因宗教信仰的缘故，来自吉尔吉斯斯坦的华婷日常饮食中包含鸡肉、花菜，却不涉及猪肉，且与偏好饮用温水的中国人不同，华婷更喜爱冷饮，尤其喜欢蜜雪冰城的草莓圣代。

Friendships blossomed through these exchanges. One Chinese participant shared how she'd learned about Huating's (a Kyrgyz student) dietary customs - observing halal practices meant chicken and cauliflower but no pork, with a particular fondness for Mixue Bingcheng's strawberry sundaes over the warm water preferred by Chinese peers.

分享环节结束后，进入趣味盎然的游戏互动环节。当主持人华芳在黑板写下“国家、姓名、动物”三个主题词，一场别开生面的“语汇竞速赛”点燃全场。各小组同学依次接力，以随机展示的字母为首字母，在黑板上填写词语，英语或汉语拼音均可。在紧张刺激的比拼中，同学们全神贯注、积极思考，每轮的积分早已不是重点，每个被喊出的词汇都在证明：语言的差异从不是障碍，而是让世界更丰富的调色盘。

The highlight was an exhilarating "Vocabulary Relay" game. When host Huafang wrote "Country, Name, Animal" on the board, teams raced to brainstorm words beginning with random letters (in English or Pinyin). The room vibrated with focused energy as participants shouted answers - the competition's score became irrelevant compared to the joyful celebration of linguistic diversity as a cultural kaleidoscope.

活动在愉快的氛围中落下帷幕，不少同学仍沉浸其中、意犹未尽。中国学生纷纷表示，此次沙龙活动不仅增进了对外国友人及其文化习俗的了解，还为他们提供了宝贵的跨文化交流机会。大家期待未来能举办更多此类活动，以进一步深入探索不同文化的奥秘。随着“语汇世界，共融文化”系列沙龙的持续推进，越来越多的中外学生正用语言编织着属于这个时代的文化共同体，让每个平凡的日常细节，都成为文明互鉴的动人注脚。

As the event concluded, attendees lingered, reluctant to end the intercultural connection. Chinese students reflected that the salon had deepened their appreciation of global cultures while providing rare authentic communication practice.
